Type S NEMA reversing magnetic starters are used for full voltage starting, stopping, and reversing AC squirrel cage motors. NEMA 8736 reversing starters are available in NEMA Sizes 00-7. This is a Size 1 reversing starter. NEMA reversing starters consist of one 8502 NEMA contactor and one 8536 NEMA starter that mechanically and electrically interlocked. Sizes 0-5 revesring motor starters are available in either horizontal or vertical arrangements. This reversing motor starter is arranged vertically. Type S reversing motor starters have ratings up to 810 amperes. This NEMA 1 reversing motor starter has a 27 ampere rating. Type S NEMA motor starters are available in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 pole versions. This 3 pole starter is for poly phase applications. NEMA Size 00 starters have ratings of 7.5 HP at 200 and 230 VAC and 10 HP at 460 and 575 VAC poly phase. This reversing NEMA motor starter has a melting alloy type overload relay that uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. These starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. The coil in this motor starter is rated for 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz which is wired for separate control. This NEMA motor starter is not in an enclosure. It is an open device. Enclosure is 9.22 inches tall, 5.41 inches wide and 5.31 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S NEMA motor starters are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.
