This Micrologic 5.0 X is an electronic control unit used on Masterpact MTZ1, MTZ2 and MTZ3 fixed circuit breakers. This control unit is compatible with MTZ1 06 to MTZ1 16, MTZ 08 to MTZ2 40, MTZ3 40 to MTZ3 63, all in fixed version. Masterpact MTZ is the last generation of high current air circuit breakers up to 6300 A embedding advanced digital technologies. Masterpact MTZ is designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads, short circuits and equipment ground faults. It is possible to customize Micrologic X control unit anytime with digital modules to add new protection, measurement or diagnosis functionalities. Micrologic X control units incorporate several channels of communication, including Ethernet, Modbus SL and wireless communication facilities. Micrologic 5.0 X embeds adjustable long time protection against overloads. It provides also adjustable short-time protection and instantaneous protection against short-circuits. With its embedded backlight HMI, Micrologic 5.0 X allows the quick identification of alarm messages. The information processed by the Micrologic 5.0 X may be displayed on the embedded backlight HMI, a smartphone through Bluetooth or NFC and a PC through the USB connection. The protections can be set by means of the embedded display, a smartphone via Bluetooth or with a PC running EcoStruxure Power Commission, and additionally via Ethernet and Modbus SL communication. Masterpact MTZ and Micrologic X are part of EcoStruxure architecture system.
